Questions agents ask
Can I really keep my Google reviews when I change brokerages?
In most cases, yes. Reviews belong to your Google Business Profile, not to your email address. If the profile is your own agent profile, we can move its ownership to an account you control, and every review comes with it. If it was set up as the brokerage office's listing, the brokerage owns it, and we'll tell you that up front.
My old brokerage email has already been shut off. Is it too late?
Not always. We can often recover access through Google's ownership request process or by working with your old office's admin. It's slower and less certain, so the best time to call us is before your last day.
Will moving my Google profile get it suspended?
Changing your name, address, and category all at once is what usually triggers a suspension. We transfer ownership first and then make changes gradually over several days to keep the profile in good standing.
Do you need my passwords?
No. Wherever possible you add us as a manager or invite us to the account, and you stay the owner. You'll sign in yourself for the steps that require it, and we walk you through them on a call.
